Jesus calls us to serve one another, just as he humbled himself to serve those around him. Service looks like a lot of different things; from serving inside the walls of God's church, within our community here in Gray Summit, or to those in need around the world.
Adopt-A-Family (December)
Designed to help disadvantaged families enjoy the Christmas holidays, the Adopt-A-Family program is designed to match needy families (Adoptee) with families, groups and organizations (Adopter) that are willing to help so everyone can enjoy the Christmas holidays. As a result, the program lessens the possibility of families spending their limited incomes on Christmas rather than basic living expenses or going without any form of Christmas.
Donations and financial contributions are due on December 15. Thank you for your generous support!

Backpack Program
The Backpack Program ministry has been part of Gray Summit United Methodist Church since 2009. We have partnered with the Meramec Valley R3 and the School District of Washington in this effort to make sure the nutritional needs are met for all the children in the area. We are currently serving the need at five schools. Nutritious foods are sent home with the students each week in their backpacks. The mission is supported through food and money donations and grants. If you are interested in learning more about this ministry or want to find out how to get involved, please email the church office.
