Reverend Mary Lou Toft
Mary Lou was born and grew up in Aurora, MO. After graduating from Aurora High School, she received a BS in Ed in Health Physical Education from Mizzou. She currently holds three Master’s Degrees: one from Baylor University in Health, Physical Education, & Recreation, one from Missouri State in Guidance and Counseling, and one from Saint Paul School of Theology – A Masters in Divinity.
Her work experience includes teaching Health and Physical Education Classes on the elementary, middle school, high school, and college levels, being a School Guidance Counselor on the Jr high and high school levels, and coaching high school girls’ sports including, volleyball, basketball, track, and softball.
She also has served the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in the Dallas area, and Christians in Service to Youth in the Dallas Area.
She was a Missionary to Australia for three years in the Sydney area. For the past 23+ years Mary Lou has served as a United Methodist Pastor in Missouri which has included serving in Rich Hill, Windsor/Brandon, Noel/Southwest City/Pineville, Mt Vernon, Memphis, and Pacific. On June,6 2009 she was ordained and continues as an Elder in Full Connection.
Mary Lou’s leisure time activities include sailing, scuba diving, bicycling, kayaking, and Pickleball. She also has American Eskimo dogs who were rescues that keep her company and entertained.
